FAQ

  • This open mic is intended to celebrate and platform music acts and local musicians. Singer-Songwriters, Folk Musicians, Blues, Jazz and other individuals or small band acts are encouraged to perform. Original music and covers are permitted to be performed.

  • Single performances are limited to 15 minutes. A 5 minute setup time will be incorporated between performance times to allow for smooth transitions between performers.

  • The Alps Mountain Farm Store sells canned soft beverages, such as soda and water. No alcohol nor prepared food will be served at this event.

  • This event is open to all ages, however AMMS cannot guarantee the content of every performance. Subject matter and language may not always be suitable for young children. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Rules

  1. This event is intended to celebrate music and local musicians, such as singer-songwriter acts, folk musicians, and small band setups. Acts should be acoustic or lightly amplified, due to sound check time and setup time limitations. Any acts outside the scope of this event are subject to be denied performance time.

  2. We reserve the right to refuse stage time to anyone for any reason.

  3. No discussion of politics is to take place in the venue. Please keep conversation and performance introductions focused on the music.

  4. Sign up RSVPs can be done on this website, or in person at the desk. Time slots are first come, first served, in person sign ups are subject to availability.

  5. Performances are limited to 15 minutes each. A 5 minute setup time will be scheduled between each performance, before the 15 minute block begins.

  6. AMMS will provide Amplification, Microphones, Stands, and Power. Provided DI Boxes have limited availability. Performers are responsible for providing their own instruments and any other required accessories.

  7. This open mic night and any AMMS hosted events are a safe space. Events welcome everyone. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate removal.

  8. Have fun and make great music!
